Christmas Jumper Day!

On Friday, students and staff from Young People’s Academy got into the Christmas spirit by sporting their favourite festive jumpers and accessories.

Parents and carers were invited in for a Christmas lunch that included a full roast dinner, crackers, music and some games to get everyone in the festive spirit! It was great to see such a high turn out of parents for the event.

In the afternoon, there were plenty of activities for the students to get involved in; they made salt dough tree decorations, watched Christmas movies, decorated Gingerbread houses, played board games and some students went BMXing or for a walk along the canal. An activity for everyone to enjoy!

Mr Hore said “it’s great to see so many of the students with their families, in their Christmas jumpers and getting into the festive spirit! I look forward to what the New Year will bring for our students!”

YPA has a good understanding and built a rapport with my son. He has been happy and well cared for to the point where he has met his full potential and thrived. The right balance and structure has provided for my son’s complex needs. Thank you for your continuous support.  Parent
