Building and Planning

The Young People’s Academy Free School would be a co-educational special school with 110 places for children and young people aged 11-19 who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH) in association with a range of learning needs, including a high proportion with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the Hillingdon and North West London region. We intend to open this new school for the academic year 2021/22.

The proposed site of our new school will be at the location of the Young People’s Academy, Falling Lane, Yiewsley, Hillingdon UB7 8AB. Our new school would be purpose-built to meet the needs of children and young people who have a range of additional learning needs.

We are currently progressing with the design and seeking planning consent.

YPA has a good understanding and built a rapport with my son. He has been happy and well cared for to the point where he has met his full potential and thrived. The right balance and structure has provided for my son’s complex needs. Thank you for your continuous support.  Parent
