The Consultation on a Proposal to open Young People’s Academy Free School will start on Wednesday 8th May and close on Tuesday 25th June. For further information on the proposal, public meetings and how to respond to the consultation please click here

School Uniform

The Young People’s Academy has a school uniform consisting of an optional black blazer, tie (school badge and ties can be purchased from school office), black trousers, white shirt and black shoes.
Students are not permitted to wear hats or hoodies in class.
Students are provided with suitable sportswear for P.E. lessons but are required to have their own trainers.

Jewellery

Parents are advised not to permit their child to wear jewellery whilst at school, as it is dangerous during P.E. and similar activities.

The Young People’s Academy will not accept any liability for damage or loss to personal property, for example, mobile phones, money, jewellery, that is brought onto the school premises.
